Marchesa Perfume

Fashion label Marchesa has been hot on the rise with its intricate craftsmanship, luxurious designs and impeccable tailoring that will literally make any woman look elegant and sophisticated. Now, designers and co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig will take this signature elegance from its fashion merchandises into a bottle, with the launch of Marchesa’s first perfume line known as Marchesa Parfume d’Extase.

The scent, developed by perfumer Annie Buzantian, has infused top notes of iris, freesia and young violet leaves with fresh jasmine topped with warm musk. Craig and Chapman explained that they didn’t fancy perfumes that were overly sweet and were looking to create a fragrance with a universal experience that exudes femininity, individuality and grace to match the ideals of the fashion label itself.

The bottle packaging for the new fragrance was greatly influenced by the designer duo that placed emphasis on details and intricate work that were often found on red carpet gowns. The bottle is faceted and embellished with quartz crystal banded with hand-set crystal accents that resembles a bow, inspired from the handbags that bear the signature trademark of Marchesa.

An advertising campaign will be launched and shot by world renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier and the fragrance is expected to debut this September in 30ml and 50ml sizes.
