Paris Menswear Finale

Wrapping up the Menswear Fashion show with a flourish last weekend were fashion bigwigs that ruled the stage for the final time. Taking the surrealist swipe, Bill Gaytten, creative director of John Galliano featured a mesh T-shirt printed with a giant lobster, multi colored patchwork suits and perky hats. Prints took center-stage with Givenchy too, albeit with more subtle highlights in the form of religious embellishments on shirts, jackets, T-shirts and jumpers.

Dior Homme sashayed in sleekly in classic tones of navy and grey while Lanvin featured dark slim-cut suits. Paul Smith closed the show with much aplomb, bringing in its new collection of colored suits. The two button navy blazer reminiscent of the 60’s was paired with crisp khaki colored trousers while the shirts took on the pastel palette.
